Zimplats donated a total of 316 housing units to the Trust for the purpose of enabling the Trust to lease out the properties to generate revenue to finance the implementation of program activities. The properties are located in Harare, Norton and Chegutu. In addition the Trust also received undeveloped land. In pursuit of objective number two which is to grow the fund, the Trust intends to expand its real estate compliment as a way of sustaining its activities in the absence of donors.

Below are the samples of the three categories of residential properties that the Trust owns. Prospective tenants wishing to be considered for lease of residential property can apply online. Zebakwe Trust endeavors to meet a social need for accommodation and hence leases out some of the houses that were donated by Zimplats. The idea is to ensure affordable accommodation even for those from disadvantaged backgrounds and expanding access to shelter by working with corporates wishing to fund development of low cost housing.
